Standard security protocols, bag inspection checks, and prohibited items to ensure a safe and family-friendly sporting experience.

Safety Restrictions

Strictly Prohibited Items

❌ Weapons & Sharp Objects: Firearms, knives, scissors, brass knuckles, or self-defense sprays.
❌ Glassware & Cans: Outside glass bottles, metallic canisters, and alcohol beverages.
❌ Pyrotechnics: Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs, and flammable liquids.
❌ Laser Devices: Laser pointers or strobes of any kind.
❌ Commercial Recording Gear: Professional DSLR telephoto lenses (above 200mm), tripods, and gimbals without LGU media accreditation.
❌ Disruptive Noisemakers: Air horns, vuvuzelas, and whistles (especially during basketball free throws).

Entry Guidelines

✅ Bag Inspection: All attendees must pass through security inspection and metal detection wands at Gates 1 to 8.
✅ No Re-entry Policy: Strictly enforced on ticketed game days unless special stamps are issued by gate security.
✅ 100% Smoke-Free Facility: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the convention center and Capitol premises.
✅ Courtside Decorum: Courtside ticket holders must keep legs behind floor boundary lines during live ball play.
✅ Emergency Exits: Always keep aisles and stairwells clear of personal bags or strollers.
